The Mall

My Better Half and I needed work/school clothes, so we grudgingly went to The Mall. It's not our favourite place to shop, but there we were. I wasn't expecting much. Thankfully, the trip turned out to be all sorts of fun, for some of the following reasons:

- I found a pair of underwear that I LOVE in the most unlikely place - American Outfitters.* I am very choosy when it comes to my knickers. For the past few years, I've been trying various makes and styles of underwear, only to be disappointed every time. I don't need something strappy and barely there. I don't need something lacy and delicate. I don't need something so low-rise that you need a Brazilian wax to pull it off. I need cotton, and I need it to cover my ass, thank you. American Outfitters**? You will be seeing me again soon, filling my basket with your cheap, trendy undies.

- We went into the Gap to look at some jeans. Generally we both avoid the place, but again, when you are trapped in The Mall, your options are limited to Mall-type stores. I was in the changeroom trying something on. I heard my BH giggling outside the door. Have you been into the new Gap store downtown? Have you noticed that they have little chalkboards outside the changerooms to write your name down? My BH had erased my name and replaced it with a giant chalk penis.

- We actually found some nice clothes. This is the last thing I expected. But I'm not complaining.

*Is that a real store? They all sound the same to me.
**EDIT! It's American Eagle. Thanks Lesley, connoisseur of booty-friendly undies.

You're thinking American Eagle, and they totally have the best undies ever - they're actually all I wear now. Very well-suited for those of us with a little...roundness ;) And cute, too!

Glad the release went well. The album is lovely.

Glad to be of help ;)

I also realized that it's really funny that I said that their undies are all I wear now. I meant in terms of underwear. Not, you know, generally.
