Going to bed at 8pm is awesome. I can't remember the last time I felt this rested. Problem is, on a normal night, I start feeling awake at 8pm. Lame.
I have discovered the perfect gift. It is especially well-suited to me, but I can think of many friends who would appreciate this. Do you think that if I ever got really good at knitting, I could knit swear words into scarves? The f-word makes me smile.
I am becoming obsessed with this site. This woman has a book, a film, and now a blog. Cancer runs in my family, and when I say "runs" I mean everybody eventually gets it. So I might as well do something preventative while I can. Although green juice in the morning would take some getting used to. Thanks to Re-Birtha for the recommendation!
I am a bad quasi-Jew, and forgot the first night of Hannukah. My Better Half and I made up for it last night when we lit the menorah and I said the prayers in very broken Hebrew. I love watching those candles. It's very calming. Except when your cat sits next to them and lights her tail on fire, which ONLY HAPPENED ONCE and she was okay. So, uh, yeah. Calming.
Happy December, whatever you celebrate!
