The Rockingest

I am sitting in my dining room, waiting, waiting, waiting for my Chinese food to arrive. It's almost 10 pm and I haven't had dinner. Talk about a mammoth studio session!

The good news is that we got a lot of work done and made a record number of juvenile butt jokes throughout the evening.

The bad news is, well, I'm really hungry.

But here's something curious. My producer's house is about to be demolished, and all the housemates are in the process of moving out. They are also in the process of drawing on the walls, in an effort, I suppose, to funk up the place before it's gone for good. It's kind of sad that the house is getting torn down, not only because it's an amazing spot, but also because it is the rockingest sort of house you will ever find. There have been concerts on the roof, in the backyard, in the kitchen, bathroom and every bedroom. It has hosted countless rehearsals and jam sessions, and until now, was the meeting place of the Ottawa Music Coalition. It just seems shitty that it's getting bulldozed for more condos. Because, y'know, we don't have enough of those.

Pretty great, I have to say. It was nice to see the ol' house all dolled up like that before it's gone.

I would write more, but I'm so tired that I might disclose something mildly embarrassing. Like earlier today when my Better Half and I were shopping and he purchased a banana case. To protect his banana.

THE FRUIT, YOU PERV.

The Glebe Emporium! For serious!

They even have one that's glow-in-the-dark. In case you lose your banana.
