Okay. I am feeling a lot less grumpy. I cleaned the house, wrapped gifts, and visited with some good friends. That's a sure recipe for happiness. And besides... My Christmas tree looks so pretty! How could I not feel like a sugarplum or whatever the fuck you call it?
(Being festive doesn't really come that naturally to me, so sometimes swear words just fly out of my mouth and there's nothing I can do to stop it! It's a sickness.)
Tonight I'm heading over to my folks' house for some Muppet's Christmas Carol (hands down my favourite Christmas movie), some cider, and some food. I'll be there for a day or two. Although I probably could take a wee blogging break to celebrate etc etc, I'm not actually leaving the city and I'll be on computers all week. So all I'm saying is, when I get tired of family and sugar, I'll probably stop in here to say hi.
